The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) is widely regarded as an essential organization for technical employers to partner with. Founded in 1974, they are the largest and most influential national organization for Hispanic professionals and students in engineering, information technology, math and science. They have 43 professional and approximately 200 student chapters in the United States and Puerto Rico.
SHPE Magazine is the voice of the organization and is published quarterly, providing members with essential information on the efforts of the organization. In addition, every issue includes career related content to assist members in identifying new opportunities.
The society holds a Conference every Fall. The 2010 Conference will be held in Cincinnati at the end of October. For additional details, please visit the Conference site.
As an employer, your message will reach every member of SHPE through direct mail ensuring complete coverage within the Society. In addition, copies are distributed through MEP programs for Latino students and professionals who are not already SHPE members to benefit from. All advertisers have the additional benefit of being included in the digital issue of SHPE Magazine. You can view an example of the digital issue by clicking here.
SHPE also offers banner advertising in three-month (quarterly) increments, ideal for employers looking only for online visibility. In addition, members have access to the SHPE Career Center where you can post positions online and purchase access to their resume database.
